Dr. Aujla completed her medical school at Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab, India. She then pursued her Family Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in
Dr. Gurparampreet Kaur (Sidhu) Aujla is a dedicated family physician with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Dr. Aujla completed her medical school at Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab, India. She then pursued her Family Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Prince George. Dr. Aujla dedicated two years of her career working in the rural, underserved community of Dawson Creek, BC. During her time there, she gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, long-term care, inpatient care, palliative care, and managing a busy community practice.
Dr. Aujla is particularly passionate about women’s health and addressing the unique challenges faced by the Southeast Asian community, especially the language barriers. She believes in empowering patients by fostering open communication, encouraging them to ask the right questions, and collaborating to make informed decisions about their health.
When she is not working, she likes to spend time with family, bake, and be outdoors.
